Abstract

The West Sumatra economy in 2020 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at the current price reached IDR 242.12 trillion and the GDP per capita reached IDR 44.03 million or US $ 3,141.97.

The economy of West Sumatra in 2020 experienced a contraction of 1.60 percent, much lower than in 2019 which grew by 5.01 percent.

The economy of West Sumatra in the fourth quarter of 2020 experienced a growth of 1.64 percent, a slowdown compared to the third quarter of 2020 which grew 4.58 percent (q-to-q).
